- Start date: 03-04-2026 Completion date: 04/01/2026 General Company for Cables Manufacturing in Damascus Internal/external tender No. 2/2026 In view of the overall speed, the General Company for Cable Industry in Damascus announces the conduct of internal/external tender No. 2/2026 in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 51 dated 12/9/2004 To supply a quantity of /600/ tons +/-25% copper electrical wire rods with a diameter of /8/mm for the cable industry. The special conditions booklet can be obtained from the company-s commercial department for an amount of 5,000 Syrian pounds. Initial insurance: /120,000/ dollars for the external bidder or /13,000,000/ liras New Syrian for the local exhibitor. Final insurance: 2.5% of the contract value. Supply in batches, the duration of each batch is 60 days from the date of the direct order. Offers are accepted from producers, official agents or authorized distributors. The external bidder is exempt from the stamp duty if there is no agent His business in Syria. The duration of the bidder-s commitment to his offer is 45 days from the day following the closing date. The duration of the nominated contractor-s commitment to his offer is 60 days. Bids must be submitted either directly or by registered mail to the office of the company located in the Damascus countryside, Old Daraa Road - Sahnaya Housh Place Junction, before the expiration date.
