Tenders are invited for Syria - Post-Earthquake Protection Mainstreaming Consultancy (M/F)- Nord West Syria. ABOUT THE CONSULTANCY The main objective of this consultancy is to provide technical expertise and support to Solidarites International to mainstream protection considerations in their post-earthquake response activities in North-West Syria. - The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing a protection mainstreaming strategy that will ensure that the organization-s response activities promote the protection and well-being of earthquake-affected populations. - The NWS Protection Mainstreaming Advisor will work under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director-Programs. He/She will be as such a part of coordination team. - The NWS Protection Mainstreaming Advisor position-s main objectives are to properly achieve the following global tasks: - Provide technical support and guidance to program teams on protection mainstreaming in all aspects of the response. - Work remotely with the program teams to conduct protection assessments, identify protection risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures. - Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to ensure that protection indicators are integrated into monitoring and evaluation plans. - Ensure that all program activities are conducted in a manner that is sensitive to gender, age, and diversity. - Develop and deliver training on protection mainstreaming to program teams and partners remotely. - Develop protection-related materials, such as guidelines, tools, and standard operating procedures remotely.
