Description:
Background: The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) operates in the Golan Heights with its Headquarters located in Camp Faouar at Amret Al Faouar, Syrian Arab Republic. The mission relies on diesel fuel to support generators, operational vehicles, engineering equipment, and other mission-critical infrastructure. To ensure operational continuity and resilience against supply disruptions, UNDOF intends to establish an on-site Fuel Reserve within the Headquarters compound of Camp Faouar, in Amret Al Faouar. The facility will consist of a diesel fuel storage depot with a total capacity of 200,000 litres, designed to meet international safety, environmental, and operational standards. UNDOF therefore seeks a qualified contractor capable of delivering a complete turn-key solution, including engineering design, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the fuel storage facility.Objective: The objective of this requirement is to establish a safe, compliant, and operational diesel fuel storage facility within UNDOF Headquarters to serve as the Mission-s Fuel Reserve.The contractor shall design and implement a fully functional fuel depot ensuring compliance with international petroleum storage safety standards, environmental protection requirements, UN operational and security requirements, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
